The show will close after playing 16 previews and 33 performances

The new musical, DIANA, will close on December 19th after a short Broadway run. The show originally opened in March 2020, but was shut down to the Covid-19 pandemic. Before the show reopened on November 17th, 2021, a filmed version of the show was released on Netflix. The show was met with mixed to negative reviews, but has found a small cult following since it's Netflix release. However, that couldn't save it from prematurely closing.

DIANA follows the story of Princess Diana and stars Jeanna de Waal as Diana. The cast also features Roe Hartrampf as Prince Charles, Erin Davie as Camilla Parker Bowles and Judy Kaye as Queen Elizabeth. This closing marks the fourth show to close since Broadway's reopening.
